In today’s instant gratification society, it is very easy to be enticed by illusions of grandeur, watching successful people achieve extraordinary things, thinking to ourselves ‘wouldn’t that be nice’ or ‘I wish I could enjoy that level of success’. Unfortunately there is a lot of data & information readily available that can lead us into playing the comparison game, often with negative consequences – comparing our results to the results being achieved by the ‘super successful’ & often becoming disheartened, and leading to either a reduction in effort, or even worse, quitting. Success (and mediocrity) leaves clues, and the clues we need to follow are the habits that are formed by the successful people who are generating the results we would like to generate.
