I love movies and stories and very often find myself completely engrossed in the storyline as well as relating so closely to the characters. One of the key reasons for this is these movies follow a very powerful formula, known as the Hero’s Journey – it is the journey of the hero that is so captivating that it draws you in. Whilst we may not be in a movie ourselves, we are on our own Hero’s Journey, and so is our team. And each of us may well be at different stages of the journey, facing different challenges, so our role is to encourage our team along the journey, and in the process, help facilitate change, improvement and transformation.
